The SeaFeed range of steel barges includes the 300, 450, 600 and 750 and are designed to be utilised in large, remote or high energy sites where a steel barge is preferred.
They have been designed as such with flexible space, good seakeeping and safe and secure operation along with uniquely weather protected selector valves all in a low cost high volume package.
SeaFeed Steel Barges are the result of many years of barge building, utilising our experience of over 85 SeaMate and SeaCap barge builds and deliveries to multiple countries.
The SeaFeed barge range is a new concept in barge plan which is modular by design. This modularity creates significant efficiencies in build costs across the range and maximises barge capacity.
Apart from optimising feed capacity; control room, welfare facilities and accommodation are separated from spacious plant rooms. For remote or high energy sites there is a large volume of storage and huge tankage available for fresh or black water, fuel and ensiled waste.
There is a dedicated high volume space created on the barge to allow for the integration of other site operations including fish treatments or processing of morts. Ship like design proportions are utilised to improve steel barge seakeeping abilities and load on and load out is provided for on the leeward end of the barge along with personnel boarding positions to either side.
The barge range is designed in accordance with DNV guidelines and can be certified to comply with NS9415.
